MyDubz is a French reggae dub composer/producer who creates music at the crossroads of styles. Inspired by UK Dub, Electro Dub and Bass Music, he has developed a unique sound identity where powerful bass lines blend with electronic textures and organic rhythms.

Dub Idren meets Mixcave Mastering - King's Melody

Colombian artist Dub Idren and Mixcave Mastering meet again in a fine combination on this new tune entitled King’s Melody.

This is the melody of the King, a wonderful hymn to the Almighty, thanking Him for life with percussion and drums by producer Craig from Mixcave Mastering. There is a spiritual and elevated vibe, resulting in a beautiful melody with a pure Rastafari speech. We hope it will please all listeners and they will share the message to the four corners of the world.

Dub Idren - Public Enemy

Colombian artist Dub Idren and Mixcave Mastering meet on this new tune entitled Public Enemy, a musical reference to a famous speech Richard Nixon gave back in June 1971 about drug use. Amidst rising public concern, Nixon delivered a pivotal speech declaring "America's public enemy number one" to be "drug abuse." This marked the beginning of the "War on Drugs."

Nixon's rhetoric was strong, calling for a "new, all-out offensive" to combat the issue. He emphasized the need for a multi-pronged approach, targeting both drug supply and demand. The speech reflected Nixon's desire to project a strong image on law and order, a key theme of his presidency. He aimed to rally public support and resources for a national campaign against drugs.

Critics argue that Nixon's speech focused more on punishment than on treatment and prevention. It disproportionately affected minority communities, leading to mass incarceration. Nixon's rhetoric and policies had lasting consequences. The "war" metaphor fueled a militaristic approach, prioritizing law enforcement over treatment and prevention, with long-lasting consequences. Additionally, the focus on stopping supply disproportionately impacted minority communities, leading to mass incarceration. Spanish self-taught producer RootsyBeats has been playing keyboard in many local and international reggae bands since 1980, sharing the stage with artists like Macka B, Mad Professor, Alpha Blondy, I Roy, Skarra Mucci just to name a few. Recently and with the rise of the internet and the ease that it offers to meet new people, he started to collaborate with artists from all over the world, composing and producing his own music.
