Muflon Dub Soundsystem - In Love With Righteousness / 2005-2014 Best Dubs Compilation

Muflon Dub Soundsystem is a musical project from Poland, delivering positive Dub and Roots Reggae inspired sounds since early 2000s, with a modern approach, lightweight harmonies, heavy drum and bass lines, simplicity with a touch of poetry, creative ideas with conscious message. 

 

The album In Love With Righteousness is a compilation of their best Dub tracks, recorded between 2005 and 2014. We can hear the evolution of their style and some of the most characteristic features of their sound (mellow vibe, steady riddim, catchy basslines, thrilling vocal lines). Most of the tracks of the compilation are included in their previous releases, which are available for free through their webpage and also on their Jamendo and Bandcamp page.

 

The album includes also Showered Ina Jah Jah Rain Dub, a previously unreleased Dub version of the tune of the same name, appearing on the album Everland. Actually, many of the songs from this compilation have their Reggae counterparts with mellow vocals and conscious lyrics, to be found in different past releases of Muflon Dub Soundsystem. What they all have in common, is the message: got to be in love with Righteousness!

Muflon Dub Soundsystem ft. Melana - Steppin To The Highest Region

After a successful release of their previous works compilation, time has come for some new music from Muflon Dub Soundsystem. Together with the charismatic vocalist Melana, they present a new powerful song about who we are and where we are going to.

“Steppin To The Highest Region” comes in 4 different versions. All of them give you lots of Dub effects, ambient spaces, heavy drum and bass and a very slow pace. Adding strong Roots and Biblical inspiration, conscious message and heartical vocals, the release has an upful vibe, good for meditation.

Muflon Dub Soundsystem: Reggae and Dub music project from Poland, founded by Muflon Man, Dub producer, songwriter and musician. For many years delivers Roots influenced progressive music in pursuit of Heartical Sound.

Melana: singer and songwriter from Poland. Having strong musical background and variety of artistic experience (opera and theatre career included), she started to record her own songs recently. This is where she met Muflon Man. This is first fruit of their cooperation, we hope for more songs in near future.

Muflon Dub Soundsystem - King Love Dub Sessions

Muflon Dub Soundsystem, the musical project from Poland, delivering positive Dub and Roots Reggae inspired sounds since early 2000s, returns with another piece of musical work, consisting of ten mellow, uplifting Dub tunes. King Love Dub Sessions is the dub side of a previous Muflon Dub's production called Król Miłość (King Love), which was self released in 2020. 

From the album title you can expect some sweet vibes, lovers rock style. But it's not the whole truth. Because Love is not just a feeling between two people. Love, as Muflon Man believes, is an ultimate force that binds this world together. Moreover, Love is a Person who actually cares of everyone here on Earth. His name is JAH.

This message reverberates on King Love Dub Sessions: Positivity plus consciousness and joyful vibe. To get you just a little hint of what the songs are about, we give you a short translation of choruses:

Track 1: Rise up, time to move on. Rise up, I will make you a great nation / Track 2: King Love. Muflon Dub Soundsystem, the musical project from Poland, delivering positive Dub and Roots Reggae inspired sounds since early 2000s, returns in 2024 with a new selection of musical works. The new single of Muflon Dub Soundsystem is entitled Streams Of Living Water.

It takes us to the waters to chill out and heal our spirits. Living waters seem to flow in this piece of music, whispering about Jah blessing and guidance. The single come in four versions, each one having different degree of intensity. Let your mind rest a little bit, while listening to the sound!

Muflon Dub Soundsystem - Moc

Muflon Dub Soundsystem, the musical project from Poland, comes with a solid portion of uplifting sound. The new album is called Moc, which means Power! It consists of five original compositions and five Dub versions, one of which produced by Dub Cmd, one of the most prolific producers of Dubophonic Records! Musically you receive a nice piece of roots-influenced digital dub. heavy riddim and bass, slow pace, upfull pulsation, and lots of dubwise effects, from lightweight one-drop to heavy steppers for soundsystems.

In terms of message, things are getting biblical here. Because whenever tribulation comes upon I and I, the word of JAH is always there for us. The title track Moc, is strongly inspired by the Book of Revelation, as these hard times can be lived through as Revelation Time. Its lyrics say:

“Power you got to experience / Glory which has to reveal / Truth which sets you free / Words worth remembering / Praise and glory and wisdom and thanks / and honor and power and strength / He will come again!” 

Another song, Emmanuel, also leads us to some mystical areas. Its inspiration also comes from the Bible, precisely, Luke 19, 44: Emmanuel! Recognize the time of God’s coming to you.”

Muflon Dub Soundsystem ft. Melana - News From The World

Muflon Dub Soundsystem from Poland, together with the vocalist Melana, join forces again to bring you a very important message. And, as usual, a solid portion of meditative, Roots-influenced Dub music 

The title track, News From The World, is an emotional reaction for all the evil that is taking place. We should never get used to it, never stop to express our disagreement for violence and injustice. Even if we experience peace and safety, our sisters and brothers are suffering out there in the world and there is always a way to help.

Other songs try to seek some comfort in the Bible. Promise of peace given by prophet Isaiah and the covenant with Noah - that’s what we hold on to in tough times. 

The last track, Steppin To The Highest Region, is a version of a song, originally released as a single in 2021. It is our statement on what we believe is our destiny.
